Are you an aspiring spoken word star?
Love rap or rhyming or just playing around with words? Then this Slam Poetry Jam – a fun space where you can test and hone your authentic voice through slam poetry – is for you! Facilitated by slam champion and creative director of OutLoud youth poetry slam, Emilie Zoey Baker, participants can share personal stories and perspectives while exploring the power of spoken word. Come along and ignite your passion for self-expression! There is also a potential opportunity for a performance later at the festival for a promising young poet from this session.
