Getting to the NT

Domestic and international flights are serviced from a range of destinations across Australia, Europe, the US and nearby Asia. Drive up the Stuart Highway from South Australia, or across from Queensland. The Ghan rail journey from Adelaide takes around 21 hours to Alice Springs.

Getting around the NT

Daily flights operate between Uluru, Alice Springs and Darwin. Smaller flights are run by Airnorth between the regional centres. Make it your own with a self-drive experience. You can hire vehicles in Darwin, Uluru and Alice Springs. Local transport options include taxis, airport shuttle, bicycle hire and bus networks.
