Much like walking, analogue processes have a tactile quality that can spark or reinvigorate creativity.
In this generative walking workshop, writer, photographer and academic, Raelke Grimmer, brings the two together, taking participants on an inspiring journey through the tropical environs at East Point Reserve.
Following a 1.3km walk with stunning views of the white stone cliffs that surround Darwin, participants are encouraged to take photographs with an analogue camera (disposable cameras can be provided) and to write using pen and paper. By exploring the intersections that arise between different analogue mediums while moving through place, participants open up their creative practice to new possibilities and come to see the environment around them in a new light.
