The Deadly Cup Rugby League Carnival (Deadly Cup Carnival) is a Community Health Promotion Event that celebrates NAIDOC Week and Indigenous culture, whilst showcasing the Rugby League talent from across the Northern Territory (NT).
The event comprises of Indigenous All Stars Teams playing Territory All Stars Teams across seven divisions ranging from U14 Junior boys and girls to Senior Women and Senior Men.
The Deadly Cup is the largest NAIDOC Week event in the Northern Territory which successfully supports:
• The wider community to engage in NAIDOC week celebrations
• The rich history, diverse cultures and achievements of Indigenous Australians to be celebrated
• Health and well-being to be promoted and awareness of services to be raised amongst community, and
• Local Rugby League talent to be showcased supporting NRL pathways for our next generation.
