All Roads Lead to the Top End | NT Writers' Festival 2024

The Top End has always been a magnet for dreamers and adventurers, for people looking to escape their lives or for the chance to build new relationships in welcoming communities found in warmer climes.

Whatever brings people here – or compels them to stay if they’re from here originally – there’s a story to tell about how they got here, and about their connection to this place.

All Roads Lead to the Top End is an exciting new anthology by Katherine Region of Writers (KROW) that gathers together writing by contributors from different walks of life, reflecting on why they are here, why they stayed, and when it might be time to leave. This engaging collection gives readers a glimpse into the diverse experiences that comprise life in the NT.

Featuring readings by Kaye Aldenhoven, Lori Martin, Marion Townsend, Royelene Hill, Eileen Doyle and others.

Launched by The Hon Sally Thomas, AC, with an introduction by Jill Pettigrew.
