In 2024 the NT Writers Festival returns to lush Larrakia land for four inspiring days of talks, performances, workshops and children’s programs at the Museum and Art Gallery of the NT.
Bringing people together to share language, culture and story in beautiful outdoor locales, this year’s festival explores the theme of reverberations.
Now, perhaps more than ever, it is crucial to consider the impacts of our actions on the world, to reflect upon their ongoing consequences. This requires us to see the world and ourselves relationally, to look beyond ourselves to the vast and interconnected networks in which we are embedded. Being attuned to reverberations allows us to hear the way the echoes of the past live on in the present and to reflect upon the ramifications of our decisions.
This festival, we invite readers, writers and storytellers to gather together to allow the words of others to reverberate in our minds, connecting and inspiring us. From the political to the personal, from local tales to global narratives, NTWF is a vibrant celebration of the power of storytelling
The full festival program goes on sale in early May, with early bird passes available in late February.
